BOSTON--On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Harvard Crimson (5-7-2, 4-4-2) hosted the Yale Bulldogs (4-10-1, 3-6-1) in both an ECAC and Ivy League matchup. Harvard emerged victorious, defeating Yale 3-1.
Game Recap:
Second Period: Harvard took control early, with Michael Callow scoring just 20 seconds into the period, firing a shot past Yale goalie Jack Stark's blocker to make it 1-0. Four minutes later, Casey Severo doubled the lead, finding the top corner of the net with a well-placed shot, making it 2-0.
Third Period: Yale responded midway through the third when Briggs Gammill scored off a cross-crease pass to cut the lead to 2-1 at 10:39. However, just a minute later, Harvard sealed the win as Philip Tresca capitalized on a rebound to score, making it 3-1.
